HOW TO DELIVER MORE VOLUME THROUGH PPC

We're often asked how a client may be able to improve their website traffic through PPC, but a key aspect that is sometimes missed is relevance.

Relevance is the key to all successful marketing and especially when it comes to your PPC budget. What good is it spending thousands of pounds a month on getting your name out there if only 5% of people seeing it are looking for something else and aren't interested?

So by all means use traffic volumes as an indicator of performance, but never try to increase traffic by looking at keywords that stretch what it is you are actually offering on your website. Google won't fall for it (your quality score will be lower and hence you will have to bid more to appear higher up sponsored listings) - but most of all, you won't be appealing to your natural customer base.

As always, it is the quality of what you do and the conversions generated thay will grow your customer base and improve your return-on-investment not solely quantity. I
